We have a family tradition. Every year on MLK weekend, we head to Chattanooga to visit the Aquarium. Teachers have free admission to the Aquarium and IMAX Theatre, so we take advantage of it. Allie Beth enjoyed herself this year; her parents not as much. It is certainly different going with an opinionated two-year-old who does not do what is asked of her. We spent most of the time correcting bad behavior than enjoying the Aquarium. We were lucky to get a few good pictures. She slept the entire way home (2.5 hours), and we were thankful that she woke up a sweet child.... She talked about it for several days, so we assume she enjoyed herself. We hope to enjoy it again next year.
Watching a movie about butterflies. She didn't last the entire movie, but she lasted as long as the popcorn was in the box. When she had eaten it all, she was ready to leave. :)

Birthday Fun
Krislyn turns 4 tomorrow! I can't believe it's been four years.... She had a Doc McStuffins birthday party today. (This is a new cartoon on Disney Junior.) Sara did a great job putting it all together, and all the kids had a blast!
We left Krislyn's party to go to another friend's party at We Flip. She thoroughly enjoyed running around, jumping on a trampoline, tumbling, and playing games with other 2 to 3-year-olds. What a fun day!
She loves her friend, Ellie. When they see each other, they start yelling, "There's Ellie...There's Allie." Ellie is wild like Allie Beth, so they became fast friends! :) I hope that they're friends for years to come because they have so much fun together! :)
She is completely worn out from the day.
After arriving home, Allie Beth told Danny that she wanted to play outside. He suggested they swing. Within three minutes, she was asleep. She had too much fun today!!

I'm a BIG GIRL now!
As quickly as we put up the baby bed, we took it down. Where does the time go? Allie Beth now has a "big girl" bed, and she LOVES it. Although I miss the days when she couldn't get out of bed, I am enjoying being able to crawl in bed with her to read her bed-time stories. What we all miss the most, though, is the pacifier! Santa gave them to a baby who needs them, and Allie has rarely taken a nap since. SAD.
She enjoyed helping Daddy...Taking down the baby bed.
Putting together the "Big Girl" Bed.
Twirling around the room because she's so excited.
That smile says it all.
She does this all the time, and it makes me laugh. When she's going to tickle you, she puts her fingers like this and begins talking in a different voice. It makes us laugh.
She was so excited about the bed that she started giving Daddy hugs.
As you can tell, she turns constantly in bed. So, after a few scares the first night, she now has guardrails. Danny and I barely got any sleep the first night because we were afraid she was going to fall
Night. Night.

Let it Snow. Let it Snow. Let it Snow.
Allie Beth didn't know what to think about the snow. She had just gotten up from a nap (which is rare!), and she was not in the mood to play! No snowman. Very few snowballs. She just stood at the edge of our yard and looked at it. I finally talked her into making an angel in the snow, but that didn't last long. At least she enjoyed eating it! :)
