A Pinkalicious 3rd Birthday

Here's the Birthday Girl! She was so excited about having her party! She's been talking about having a Pinkalicious birthday for about 6 months now. It's hard to believe it has come and gone. What's even more hard to believe is that my baby is going to be THREE in a few days.

We certainly had EVERYTHING pink! I even found pink boxes of crayons at Walmart! I was excited for that find to go with these cute bags that I found at Hobby Lobby.

Here are the crafts. You talk about a crazy party! We decorated crowns and wands with the stickers. Then, they made pink bracelets with different beads. We had about 15 kids + parents. Then, we had both our families there as well. It was W.I.L.D. in the house!!

New Job!

It's been a wild summer. We have been so busy with trying to finalize BUILDING PLANS for a house as well as trying to find a builder. I am very excited about building a house, and I think we're almost ready to get started. It's definitely been a waiting game. Poor Mom and Dad are having to live with us for a lot longer than I first thought!

In the meantime, I've been interviewing all summer for a teaching position. I am thrilled that I will be filling a long-term sub position at Liberty Park Middle. This couldn't be a better fit for me! I really enjoyed meeting the principals, and I can't wait to be back in 7TH GRADE!! God is so gracious to give me the grade that I love to teach as well as a wonderful school.  Look out Liberty Park. There's a very excited teacher coming your way!

Once again, we are LOVING every moment in Grand Haven. Just a few photos so far...

The Loveliest Village

We made a quick trip today to see Courtney and her new baby girl. Allie Beth enjoyed playing with Hannah! I had to also take the opportunity to get her picture made in her Auburn outfit before she outgrows it. I bribed her with ice cream, and it worked! She smiled, yelled "Cheese," and enjoyed every bite of her pink ice cream with purple sprinkles and a marshmallow on top. Her favorites. I'm determined she will be a Tiger Fan with her Mommy. I need one on my side! :)
