Happy Fall Y'all

We had our church Halloween carnival tonight. I've never seen Allie have so much fun! She was literally running everywhere laughing.  All eyes were on her because she looked so cute in her outfit. Oh. My. She's going to be a handful when she gets older....not that she's not one now!!!! Thanks, Mimi, for the cute outfit. :)  She LOVES her duck!

Trying to get a few shots at home before we left.

And, my favorite picture..... I think this one will make it on the Christmas card this year....

Playing on the playground at church before the carnival began.
Mimi brought Krislyn too. I wish Allie would have played with her more!! There was so much going on that Allie couldn't think straight. :)  She was running in circles so much that I wonder if she even knew Krislyn was there.  So much to do, such little time.

I wish this picture wasn't blurry. :( I was trying to take it before she moved.  As I said, all eyes on Allie. She got tired and layed down. Everyone thought it was so cute.
Look how sweaty she is because she was running around everywhere. She was so tired that she finally sat down for a second.
What a fun night! Allie loved every second! Happy Fall Y'all.

The day that didn't go as planned

Well, I had a brilliant idea that I would try to carve a pumpkin with Allie Beth today. I had it in my head that this would be a fun idea and that she would enjoy it.  I called my sister, and we were both excited to get great pictures of the girls trying to pull out the insides, getting messy, and having a pumpkin carved with smiles on their faces.  It didn't go as I had pictured in my mind.

It started the moment we stepped into the front yard.  There was a truck down the street cutting down a tree.  Allie Beth was scared to death of the noise.  She wouldn't leave my arms and would cry the moment I put her down.  We managed to get a few good pictures of the three kids because Sara was standing behind me doing jumping jacks and playing peek-a-boo.  After that, I tried to start carving the top, but she wouldn't leave my arms.  So, we moved to the backyard.

Allie Beth and Krislyn didn't want to touch the pumpkins or help in any fashion. Sara and I laughed at the thought that we wanted to record it with our video cameras. There was nothing to even film.  :) We decided that their daddy's would be finishing the carving later.  Off the park we went.

A Sunday Afternoon Project

I have gotten addicted to Pinterest. It's a great website to get so many creative ideas.  I found one idea that I loved. We have mail all over the place, so this project is to put it all together in one spot.  Basically, you use  a shutter and put the mail through the slots.  It looked cute online, so I thought we'd try it.

I found these on the side of the road.

Allie wasn't thrilled with the project Mommy and Daddy were working on....
Danny is sawing it in half for me.
The sanding begins.
Then, I repainted the shutter. I was wanting to do a different color, but I decided we would stick with the FREE paint that we already had in the shed.  :)
Now, we just have to hang it on the wall. Hopefully, the mail will actually stay in it like the picture from pinterest. If not, plan B. At least my little project didn't cost us a penny. :) What a great afternoon I had.

A Fun October

Here are a few shots of Allie Beth enjoying herself this month.  She really is a cutie pie! I know I'm biased, but she's the cutest thing I've ever seen. :)

She was too cute first thing in the morning brushing her teeth.

Here she is eating her broccoli. :)

She really enjoyed going to The Preserve and jumping on the moon walk.  She even made some new friends along the way.

We've had a great October so far. We're looking forward to Halloween.  She keeps pointing at her outfit and gettng excited about her "duck." :)

The Best Date Ever

It's Great to be an Auburn Tiger! :) Danny surprised me with a wonderful day on the Plains. He got us Auburn/Florida tickets, and he took care of childcare. So, Saturday morning, we dropped Allie Beth off with his parents and headed to the greatest place on earth, Auburn, AL.  We arrived around noon and immediately went to tailgate with some old friends, Dusty and Keightley Garnett. It was so nice of them to let us join them...and even save us a parking spot!  Thanks, Dust!!!  We were later joined by good friends, Ben and Megan Gambrel.  It was fun to see all of these old Navigator friends.  It was great for Courtney and Hoffman to join us as well, and we were able to visit with the Head family for a little while.  It was a GREAT day!! The game atmosphere was wonderful as well.  I could just go on and on. Overall, I just had the BEST day that I've had in a long time. Thanks, everyone, especially my husband, for making my day perfect.  War Eagle.

Allie Beth dressed in her orange and blue.

Toomer's Corner tree. It isn't looking so great since that CRAZY Alabama fan poisoned it!

I had to get my baby fix with sweet, little Hannah since Allie Beth wasn't there.

East Asia friends.

My wonderful husband. He is even sporting orange just for me.

Hoffman pointing out Hannah's Auburn bum... :)

Courtney and Hoffman came to see us. I love that she is so close to us now!! :)

Ben and Megan, us, and Dusty and Keightley.  Thanks, Garnett family, for allowing us to crash your tailgate. It was great to revisit with old Navigator friends.

The line to get into the stadium. No fun. I was just so glad I made it in for the eagle flying.

yes, we were on the top row of the upper deck.

What a great day!! Couldn't have been any better. Thanks, Danny, for such a great treat. :)

The Pumpkin Patch

We had a great time at the pumkin patch today.  Sara along with Krislyn and Kendan came along as well. Allie ran, ran, and ran some more. Most of the pictures that I have are of the back of her head because she wouldn't sit still! But, I did get a couple good ones.  If only you knew how many pictures I took in order to get a couple good shots!!!!
Krislyn and Allie. We couldn't get one with the two of them looking. Maybe next year.

My favorite picture of the day....
Here she is on the go....as always!
 Playing in the teepee.
Running. Running. Running. I wonder if she'll be a runner when she's older because that's about all she wanted to do today.
The next three pictures make me laugh.  She wanted to look at the horses.  Then, she got scared, backed away, and ended up on my lap. :)

She couldn't back up anymore because I was behind her, but I think she would have taken off running if she could have.
yay! One good picture of the two of us. Thanks, Aunt Sara, for taking about ten pictures until we got one.
 Playing.
 "Driving" the tractor.
Here are three, little, worn-out kids!

What a fun day! It was PERFECT weather too. Blue skies, no clouds, mid70s. Hardly anyone was at the park, so it made it better for the kids to be able to run where they wanted.  Mommy was exhausted when she got home, but it was worth it.  I hope she'll enjoy it year after year. I think we've started a tradition. Here's a picture from last year.  My baby has grown up. Sweet girl. I will say it was much easier to keep up with her last year! :)
Side note: Aunt Martha, notice the socks on her feet. :)
