E is for Elephant

I've been trying to think of things to do with Allie Beth throughout the summer.  It was rainy today, so we had to be inside.  I decided to take her to the library and to the mall to walk around. It worked out perfectly because she chose a book about elephants, and she wanted to ride the carousel.  Perfect learning opportunity.  Side note: Allie is really enjoying reading this summer! We have already logged 1500+ pages read since June. She gets a ticket for every 100 pages she reads, and she chose a new toy from their box today, an owl. I guess she doesn't have enough of those at home already. :) She will receive a new book next time we turn in her pages. I'm proud of my little reader! :)
