First Day of Mother's Day Out

This mommy is having a hard time letting go this week! Today, Allie started Mother's Day Out.  Saturday, she will be turning one. Too much for me to handle in one week! :) She came home from MDO so excited and in a good mood all afternoon. She's been so excited that she wouldn't nap and was exhausted. I guess it could be because she was so excited this morning that she got up at 4:30am! CRAZY. Mommy and Daddy are TIRED. She really is an extravert, and it wears her introvert parents out! :)

Allie had to have a backpack for Mother's Day Out. Really? A one-year-old with a backpack. But, it is cute. :) Thanks, Mimi, for the backpack for school. I took pictures yesterday, but she didn't want to participate. She just wanted to read her books.

 She likes carrying around the lunchbox...since the backpack is still too big for her.

Planning for Allie's first birthday party is underway. It's only four days away, and I have sooo much to do!!! Sara finished her shirt, and it looks great! I can't wait to show off Allie in it. Perfect colors, and it matches PERFECTLY. Thank you, Aunt Sara, for making the shirt!  This party is going to be a HOOT.
